How to score high in GENERAL AWARENESS section of SSC CGL EXAM?


SSC CGL Exam has various sections to be prepared to score and qualify in the exam. General awareness is one such section from where candidates can score good marks to acquire a higher rank in the merit list. General awareness is asked in Tier I and Tier II. The syllabus for GS is enormous but still, it should be given equal attention like other sections.
This section requires a lot of reading and remembering the facts and figures which are related to the topics of the syllabus. The subjects that one needs to cover are History, Polity, Geography, General Science, Economics and Current Affairs.
While preparing for the exam, you can divide sections of each topic. Select a resource book for static general knowledge and read with concentration for all the sections. Divide your time for each section so that you cover almost all the topics of GS Syllabus. Understand the topics well and revise them regularly till your exam. SSC has a trend to repeat the questions, therefore, refer to previous year question papers to know the important questions and topics of GS.
